Kyle is the founder and Vice-President of Operations for Shadow Development Technologies and the Lead Developer of ScrumIt.org, WNC Local, and CityFix. Even as a young child, Kyle sought past the usual "lemonade stand" model and decided to pursue a business of his own. At the age of eight, Kyle started selling Happy Rocks to the fellow customers of his dad's Hosta business. Throughout his childhood and into his teen/adult years, Kyle has always had a business mindset and an entrepreneurial spirit.
Kyle has been mentioned in various books, including Starting Your Career as a Freelance Web Designer by Neil Tortorella, and has been associated with top news channels, including FOX. Kyle has also written various articles, including one that has been published in a national magazine (NACA) that discusses some good tips on revising your current website. As a fellow Digerati and as the founder of Shadow Development Technologies, Kyle has been programming with web development since 2001, and his experience ranges from basic HTML to advanced PHP and jQuery. He has been developing web applications as early as his high school years, including NetLink, which is a Content Management System with a visual page editor for the teachers of his school. His main goal is to make the Internet a better place for everyone.
Kyle won the "Young Entrepreneur of the Year" from Western Carolina University's College of Business in April 2008 for his work with Shadow Development, along with being a member of the Pi Lambda Phi Fraternity and Pi Gamma Mu Internal Honors Society. He graduated from Western Carolina University in 2009 with a BS in Entrepreneurship.
