In order for us to gain further funding, our potential venture capitalists require that we raise some "Friends and Family" funding before we go after the bigger dollars.

What am I getting?

Keep in mind that you are not getting a percentage or stock in the company (ventures don't like that). You are getting a guaranteed promissory note from Shadow Development that we will pay back what you donated PLUS 10% of the amount over 5 years. Basically you'll get 110% of your donation back in 2015.

Whether you can donate $1, $5, $10, or even $100, anything is appreciated.
Side note: At least anything over $0.32 - PayPal does take a cut, unfortunately

What should I expect on my credit/debit statement?

This transaction will appear on your bill as "PAYPAL *SHADOW DEV" on your credit/debit card.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

We are not a charity or a non-profit, so unfortunately your donation is not tax deductible. Sorry - the Government has some strict rules about that stuff.
